Skaters who register online, but pay on-site on the first day of class are NOT considered late.We accept Visa and Mastercard payments on our website or on site. A $3.00 processing fee will be applied to all credit card transactions. This includes On-site payments as well.1.) Beginner Skaters (Snowplow 1 and Basic 1) who are not able to skate independently and get up after fall without assistance will be required to register with a parent. The parent must be able to assist the skater after falls and otherwise as needed to all coaches to socially distance. 2.) All classes will be 30 minutes in length with no free practice time. Skaters will remain in class with instructor for the entire 30 minutes each day. Sessions are lengthened to 6 weeks instead of the previous 4 week length. 3.) Each class level will be limited to a maximum of 10 participants to allow for adequate space for each skater. 4.) If you are going to miss a class, skaters will be allowed to make up missed classes on the alternate class day, only if previous notification and approval has been granted. Please contact director@cvfsc.net to schedule make up classes. Availability of make-up classes will be dependent on available space in the class. 5.) All skaters are required to pay $25.00 registration fee once per season. If not included with registration, the fee will be collected prior to first class 6.) Waterloo Leisure Services, the City of Waterloo, Young Arena and the Cedar Valley Figure Skating Club will not be held responsible for any accidents/injuries while participating in our activities/events. Participants are responsible for their own insurance. 7.) All participants ages 12 and under must have a responsible adult in the building for the duration of each class.
