- Adult/Teen (ages 14 & up) -- Mondays 6:00-6:30 pm or Saturdays 9:30-10:00 am
- Pre Freeskate – Freeskate 3 -- Mondays 6:00-6:30 pm or Saturdays 9:30-10:00 am
Class levels may be grouped together or cancelled based on participant registrations and coaching availability.
The Cedar Valley Learn to Skate Program generally cancels classes when Waterloo/Cedar Falls Schools cancel classes or evening activities due to poor road conditions. Please check the Cedar Valley Figure Skating Club’s Facebook and/or Instagram pages for updates on class cancellations during winter weather. Make up dates for any classes cancelled in Session #1 due to winter weather: TBD. Class participants will be notified of confirmed make up dates as needed.

Registrations accepted online, may be dropped off at the arena, mailed to PO BOX 1052, Waterloo, IA 50707. Skaters who register online, but pay on-site on the first day of class are NOT considered late.
1.) All classes will be 30 minutes in length. Skaters will remain in class with instructor for the entire 30 minutes each day.
2.) If you are going to miss a class, skaters are allowed to make up the class on the alternative class day only if previous notification and approval has been granted. Please contact director@cvfsc.net to schedule make up classes. Availability of make-up classes will be dependent on available space in the class.
3.) Waterloo Leisure Services, Young Arena, the City of Waterloo, nor the Cedar Valley Figure Skating Club will not be held responsible for any injuries/accidents that occur while participating in our events/classes. Participants must be responsible for own insurance.
4.) All participants under age 12 are required to have a responsible adult available in the building during classes.
